La Villa

La Villa lies on the shore of the Adriatic Sea, overlooking the Dalmatian coast, islands, and it is nestled in the Lopud renaissance harbour. Staying at La Villa is an idyllic 'get away' experience. This small hotel has the beach at its front door and the island's botanic garden in its backyard. Lopud is a peaceful refuge without cars and other chaos of urban life.

The foundations of La Villa can be dated back into the 16th century, while its present form originated in 1862. The building was renovated in the 1980s, and all rooms were newly appointed in the winter season of 2004, giving La Villa its characteristic, calm and contemporary flair.

The longstanding tradition of La Villa hospitality has been revived, and the intimate scale and popularity means that reservations should be made. There may still be an opportunity to reserve the entire villa should a small group desire complete privacy, and the undivided attention of our staff.

Katarina, Natasa, Dragana and Dario embody the enticing spirit we're committed to adding to your vacation. They do not only run the household to ensure that your stay is perfectly comfy and soothing, but also spend time in revealing to you the sights on and around Lopud.

Natasa or Katarina will answer all your questions in English, French or Croation, just to make your stay a bit more home-like.
Dragana is a dedicated chef of traditional mediteranean cuisine, and
she enjoys adding the special little something to every day.

Dario is our La Villa Captain and is pleased to take you to Sunj Beach, the islands around, or to transfer you to the mainland.
Excursions with our "sea dog" on our boats 'Dhana' and 'Mali Andro' make a difference to your stay.

Our La Villa Team will not only welcome you upon arrival on the island, but can assist with information prior to your departure from
home, during your stay - and of course, while planning your return!

 

Breakfast and Snacks

Enjoy your breakfast, or ‘snack in between’ at our new “Breakfast and Snack Area”. As we believe, a rich and tasty breakfast is a perfect start for the day, we are committed to ensure, that either organic, or high quality products of small local producers, are part of your breakfast buffet.

For a light Lunch or the small appetite in between various salads and sandwiches can be ordered during the day.
